Empowering Communities through Contemporary Art, Memory & Resilience

A Hybrid
and Evolving Model

At Exodus & Resilience, our permanent collection grows through a two-track approach: (1) original acquisitions that remain with the project, and (2) rotating loans from local collectors, artists, and institutions in every host city.

This model ensures curatorial excellence while keeping each exhibition locally rooted and collaboratively built.

What We Own, What We Share

• Museum-quality, one-of-a-kind pieces acquired for their artistic merit and mission fit.
• Carefully documented provenance, insured and conserved for the long term.
• Goal: a legacy collection of 15–20 cornerstone works by 2028.

• Short- and mid-term loans generously provided by collectors, artists, and partner museums.
• Add local nuance, fresh perspectives, and dialogue with the core collection.
• Formal loan agreements and full attribution for every piece.

Transparency and Ethical Standards

We believe in transparency and shared responsibility. Every acquisition or loan is covered by a written agreement, fully insured, and shown only with verified provenance and permission.

Our Collection Ethics & Partnership Guide is being finalized. If you’re a donor, collector, or cultural partner and would like to review a draft—or propose a loan or gift—please reach out:
